Welcome to the home of Terra Pra Raizes capoeira group!!  We are an ASCAB(American Society of Capoeira and Arts from Brazil) affiliated school under the supervision of Mestre Doutor, the Head of ASCAB in the USA and Philly Capoeira.

 

We are didicated to the preservation of ASCAB style of Capoeira and making contributions to all of capoeira.  

 

Capoeira is a martial art, a dance, Afro-Brazilian culture, and a great workout. It's also fun!  There is something in Capoeira for everyone from all ages and all walks of life.
